In September 2026, Prof. Dr. Thomas Neumuth took over as Director of the Innovation Center for Computer-Assisted Surgery (ICCAS). His predecessor, Prof. Dr. Andreas Melzer, who led the institute for many years, was formally honored at a retirement ceremony on September 9, 2026.
Advisory Board
The Advisory Board was founded in 2011. It consists of renowned representatives of scientific, economic and clinical institutions. It evaluates and reviews the work of the management and advises it on the center’s important issues.
Medical Board
This committee provides advice and support in the assessment and concrete implementation of medical innovations – for example in the introduction of new therapeutic procedures and treatment fields.
