The SurgiTrace project aims to develop an intelligent, AI-driven system to optimize resource planning in surgical procedures. To minimize errors caused by time constraints during the preparation of endoprosthesis operations, the system automates and verifies the completeness, product type, and size of required materials.

Key achievements of the project include the development of a smart implant cabinet featuring automated dispensing of endoprostheses, paired with a dedicated SurgiTrace tablet application that instantly verifies prosthesis compatibility. Additionally, an integrated navigation function guides staff efficiently through the process. By combining advanced tracking and machine learning, SurgiTrace ensures an independent, quality-assured workflow, significantly enhancing both operational efficiency and patient safety.
